Cristi Kennedy grew up in Montclair, New Jersey and is excited about entering her third year at Claremont McKenna College. She has been an active member of ASCMC since her first year and is excited about her new position as Chief Ethics and Procedural Officer. In addition to working on ASCMC, Cristi is head of the Art Council where she plans to expand art programming at Claremont McKenna College.
The Chief Ethics and Procedural Officer, also referred to as CEPO, ensures that the Constitution and various operating procedures are adhered to. Additionally, they serve as an ethical check on the corporation, so it is their prerogative to monitor the operations of ASCMC and its officers and guarantee that the Constitution, and the law, are respected. The Chief Ethics and Procedural Officer also chairs the Elections Committee, and is a regular member of the Budget Committee.
Cristis goals this year are to ensure ASCMC continues to adhere to all constitutional requirements and operating procedures, and does so in the most efficient and ethical manner. Additionally, she aims to secure the longevity of the corporation by enhancing the transition procedures.
