Music Mania

Music Mania is a student-led community service organization at the Claremont Colleges that aims to help Elementary/Middle school students from Uncommon Good develop music appreciation and learn music theory. We host weekly classes on CMC's campus where we emphasize learning music through innovative and diverse methods. The semester culminates in a recital or performance by the students! This is a great opportunity to practice leadership and collaborative skills. This is also a great place for music lovers and for people who love kids!

We are looking for students who have enthusiasm and love working with kids. Prior experience with music or music theory is not required, because we train our mentors before each class about the material. All students at the Claremont Colleges who are interested in sharing their love of music with kids who do not have access to learning are welcome to join!
