Biography:
Hello everyone! My name is Carson Bloom and I am a sophomore majoring in Econ/Accounting. I'm from Whitefish, Montana. Outside of ASCMC, I'm an accounting tutor and am on the Admissions and Financial Aid Committee. You'll frequently find me in the gym, studying in my room, or at an event. I also love reading historical fiction, listening to Zach Bryan, and coffee. As VPSA I'm working to retain our treasured traditions and events, throw creative new ones, and overall promote a vibrant and inclusive social scene!
Responsibilities:
The Vice President of Student Activities oversees social life on campus which does not relate exclusively to dorms or clubs. More concretely, this usually means overseeing and working with the Event Commissioners to plan weekly TNCs, Saturday night parties, and other wet and dry events as appropriate. Several of the responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Hosts events in combination with event commissioners
Meet with DOS
Meet with other 5C events hosts to set master calendar
Serve on budget and elections committee
Budget the student activities budget
Hand over revenue to Comptroller from sales
Inventory student activities equipment
