  • Hometown: New York City, New York

  • Class Year: 2022

  • Favorite spot on campus: Crown balcony

Ahnaf is a Philosophy and Public Affairs major with a Data Science sequence. Outside of the classroom, he can be found working on Crown’s balconies, planning with Quantum Records, or competing for CMC’s Model United Nations team. His hope is to help improve the experience of CMC students as much as possible. If you have any initiatives or ideas, please feel free to reach out!

The Chief Operating Officer is the member of ASCMC responsible for all logistical and clerical tasks to keep the Board running smoothly.  Some duties of the COO include:

  • Taking detailed minutes at all Executive Board meetings

  • Managing social media accounts as well as the official ASCMC website

  • Writing the Skim weekly to send to student body

  • Managing internal Board relations, aiding in conflict resolution

  • Overseeing all logistical functioning of the board, reserving spaces for board events

  • Keeping the inventory of all ASCMC equipment and property, maintaining ASCMC office spaces

  • Hosting board transition dinner in the Spring

  • Managing the ASCMC Google Drive with record of all past documents

In the spirit of ASCMC’s prior social media and website-related initiatives, I hope to make ASCMC more connected with the community it represents. Aside from pushing for more public awareness campaigns on ASCMC initiatives, I intend to revamp the website to become an informational hub with useful resources for all students.
