Claremont Accounting Association
The purpose of our club is to help accounting students meet and network with associates and partners in the financial world, build lasting relationships with each other on campus and with professors in the classroom. Additionally we focus on providing a community for accounting majors and educational activities for those already an accounting major and those considering accounting as a field of study or a career.
Past Accomplishments and Future Plans
Our primary event is the annual accounting banquet that we plan and execute every year at the end of April. In addition to the banquet, we host speakers, throw social events and provide networking opportunities to our members and those interested in accounting. This year we have instituted bi-monthly meetings to create a more welcoming member environment and plan to bring a diverse set of speakers in on new and upcoming accounting topics and careers.
Members are selected via application, invitation, nomination, and recommendation. Members must pay any dues or other liabilities owed to the Association or agents acting on its behalf as determined by the Executive Committee of the Association
