Claremont Boxing Club 

We are here to provide intense fitness training through cardio boxing WITHOUT sacrificing the form. A lot of cardio boxing classes out there skip the fundamentals and teach form that would be outright counterproductive to learning how to throw a punch. Here at Claremont boxing, we offer a drop-in schedule of classes where you can get your sweat on AND feel like you're learning something of value.

Values: Our focus is NOT on teaching students how to fight but rather on how to maintain health and well-being amidst a challenging academic environment. There is NO skin-to-skin contact whatsoever, students are only hitting boxing gloves against boxing mitts. Our emphasis is not on perfecting any certain punch, but on establishing a greater level of confidence within our students when tackling other challenges in life. We believe that the skills they learn in our classes make them more confident in all other aspects of their lives, whether that be in the classroom, in relationships, or in new social encounters. We want to offer an all-inclusive workout program as a way to stay both physically and mentally healthy. 

Opportunities: We will pay for and host all major boxing/UFC events, host social events to offer an opportunity for students to get to know each other outside of our training sessions, and host anything else that might help grow the club.
